What should be the treatment procedure?

Dear doctors,

My mother (57) in India has just detected with mid-thoracic esophagul cancer. There is a thickening of maximum 12.6 mm and maximum length of  76 mm observed in the esophagul wall (26 cm down the mouth opening). It is non-keratinising squamous cell carcinoma. Mild fat stranding is seen in peri-esophagal fat.

I would be extremely thankful if you could provide me your opinion.

 1) What stage of cancer would you put this case in ?

2) What should be the course of treatment? In what order should she take chemotherapie, radiotherapie ( if needed) and surgery or anything else ?

Hearty thanks!

Regards..

Beste  Agrawale,

Hartelijke groet,

Dear Agrawale,

I’m sorry to hear your mother is diagnosed with esophagal cancer.  We understand you want to know what treatment is the best for your mother. Unfortunately the professionals at kanker.nl don’t give an advice for treatment. They also do not review the medical reports. Your questions should  be answered by your mothers specialist.

We wish you a lot of strenght.

With kind regards,
